Privacy notice
What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written to be read rather than to be legally impenetrable.

Who we are
STR8 GROWTH (“we”, “us”) is a marketing services firm based in Elora, Ontario, Canada. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can reach us at sales@str8growth.com or (207) 200-5358.
What we collect
We collect only what we need, and almost all of it you give us directly.

We do not collect special-category data, we do not buy contact lists, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Legal basis
- Consent — when you submit the contact form or opt into email.
- Contract — when we process data to deliver services you have engaged us for.
- Legitimate interests — securing the site, preventing abuse, and improving what we publish. We balance this against your rights and it never extends to selling data.
- Legal obligation — retaining records where tax or corporate law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies by default. Analytics, if enabled, runs in a privacy-preserving mode that does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
If we ever add cookie-based advertising or tracking, a consent banner will appear first and nothing will load until you choose. Your choice is stored locally and can be changed at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the processors we need to operate, each under a data processing agreement:
- Hosting — to serve this website
- Email delivery — to deliver your form submission to our inbox
- Analytics — to understand which pages are useful
- CRM — to manage the conversation if you become a client
Some of these operate outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens we rely on contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under Canada’s PIPEDA and, where it applies to you, the GDPR, you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete it, where we have no overriding legal reason to keep it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Export it in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done beforehand
Email sales@str8growth.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or to your local supervisory authority in the EU or UK.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS enforced. Form submissions are rate limited and validated on the server. Access to client platforms is granted through delegated permissions rather than shared passwords, and revoked when an engagement ends.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you and creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this notice materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects you meaningfully, tell you directly.
